This is the infamous camelspider. Someone brought it in to the clinic to have it identified. Camelspiders are not actually spiders, they are "psuedoscorpions." Their bite is not venomous and they are not a threat to humans (as long as you don't try to pet them). This one was about an inch and a half long.

Yikes! Don't let the bed bugs bite! Glen
Wow - camel spiders are pretty crazy-looking. What do they eat?

Zeb, looks like you are getting to know the "locals." It's nice to see you're able to get online and post things quite often. Julia said you may be getting wireless there soon, so that would be cool. We went bowling last night, Katie, me, Julia, Charps, Hubbard and LeeAnn. Followed up with some cards and it was a good time. I'm heading out to Idaho tomorrow with the ski team to Nationals. Everyone liked that you posted on the ski team forum. Take it easy.

Julia-
Camel spiders eat other bugs and small lizards... basically anything that they can catch.
Andy & Katie-
Yeah, you know I love bugs and animals. I want to catch some scorpions when it gets warm (although I've been advised against it). May be getting wireless, but I have no idea when. It could be a while. Have a good time in Idaho. I hope the snow is good for you. Wish everyone luck for me!
